Steps and Guide for Passport Application in the Philippines 2019

DFA Passport Appointment System 2019.

It is now more easy to schedule an appointment with the DFA’s new system just released last August 2018 . Unlike before, the schedule is always full, so the agency decided to change how their appointment works. This change is to avoid fixers in reserving slots online and provide more schedules to the growing need of Filipinos wanting have a passport. The new passport has a longer expiration date, it is now 10 years.

To schedule an appointment, click here DFA website

Step 1

Select the best date and time for your appointment. After successfully selecting your best schedule, you will be asked a lot of information for your passport application. You then need to provide an email, make sure and double check email to avoid miss delivery of email confirmation. If you accidentally put in a wrong email, i am sorry but you need to set a schedule again.

If everything is set, you will receive an email from DFA, this email contains a reference number. Use this code to pay in their authorized payment centers.

Step 2

Applicants can pay the ePassport processing fee through any of the following payment centers:

  • Bayad Center
  • EcPay
  • PeraHub
  • Robinson’s Business Center and Department Stores
  • Waltermart Department Store
  • 7-11
  • USCC (Western Union)
  • Villarica Pawnshop
  • Other Payment Centers, as well as the credit/debit card payment facility, will be made available soon.

The applicant will need to pay Php 950.00 for regular processing or Php 1200 for “express” processing. On top of the processing fee, the payment center will charge Php 50.00 as a convenience fee. Keep in mind that these fees are non-refundable. It means that any payment made will be forfeited if the applicant fails to show up during his/her appointment date.

Step 3

A confirmed appointment will be sent to your email once the payment has been successfully processed. In that email, it contains an appointment code and appointment details. Click the link to your passport appointment or the attached documents of the email and print.
